Superior Panel Technology has developed a brighter, more uniform and longer lasting Glare Shield lighting system. The 18” x 1” Glow Strip electroluminescent lamps provide a beautiful fluorescent-like aviation green or a white light output. The ultra-thin lamps (.065 including the adhesive backing) are very flexible and conform to the curves of the underside of the glare shield. The Glow Strips meet the FAA 23.853 burn test. Inverters ARE included with the kit. Our PWM dimmer (SPTPWMLEDS) is recommended for this product and is offered with a discount when ordered with the lamps. Our one, two, three or four circuit solid state dimmers are also recommended for use with the lamps, but must be ordered separately.

A This product is not STC or TSO. But installed in certified aircraft with 337 highly recommended to get approval with Fisdo before ordering. For most a piece of cake for others not so much.

Hello, I have been using the glow strips in my Cessna 421c for several years under the dashboard to light the panel gauges and I couldn’t be happier. In fact I am building a Back Country Cub and have installed the lights in it as well.
